You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2. Description of Service
Timmy is an AI-powered personal finance companion that provides the following features:
AI Chat Transaction Logging: Log expenses and income by chatting with Timmy in natural language across 20+ supported languages.
Receipt Scanning: Capture and extract transaction details from receipt photos.
Multi-Currency Support: Track finances in 14+ currencies with separate wallets.
Budget Management: Set spending limits by category and receive alerts when approaching or exceeding them.
Debt Tracking: Manage debts and loans with payment schedules and reminders.
Savings Goals: Set and track savings targets with progress visualization.
Group Sharing: Create shared wallets and track expenses with family or friends.
Recurring Bills: Set up and track recurring payments with reminders.
Reports and Analytics: View spending trends, category breakdowns, and financial insights.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Subscription and Pricing
Timmy offers both free and premium subscription tiers:
Free Tier: Access to core features including AI chat transaction logging, basic budgeting, and limited daily AI interactions.
Timmy Premium: Unlimited AI interactions, advanced budgeting tools, detailed reports, additional AI personalities, and priority access to new features.
Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis and are auto-renewable. Key subscription terms:
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods upon cancellation. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
6. App Store Terms
The Service is available for download on the following platforms:

Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and conditions of the respective app store from which you downloaded the application. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through the app store's payment system. Any billing disputes should be directed to the respective app store.
7. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of all financial data and content you submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter. We do not verify the accuracy of financial data entered by users and are not liable for any errors or discrepancies in your records.
8. AI Features Disclaimer
Timmy's AI-powered features are designed to assist with personal finance tracking and management. Please note:
AI transaction parsing is provided as a convenience and may not always be 100% accurate. You should review and confirm all AI-generated entries before saving.
The Service does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any insights or suggestions are for informational purposes only.
AI personalities and responses are for engagement purposes and do not constitute professional financial guidance.
You should consult qualified financial professionals for financial planning, investment, or tax decisions.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, content, trademarks, and the "Timmy" brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
No rights or licenses are granted to you by implication or otherwise, except for the limited rights expressly set forth in these Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We are not responsible for any loss of data, financial losses, or damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content or transaction parsing.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon account deletion:
Your personal data and financial records will be permanently deleted within 72 hours.
Transactions you logged in shared group wallets will remain visible to other group members but will no longer be associated with your profile.
Any active premium subscription should be cancelled separately through your app store settings to avoid continued billing.
Account deletion is irreversible and all data will be permanently lost.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
